Pok Khek
New, more combat oriented style of kung-fu, popular in Malaysia. The art has been developed by Chinese sifu from Hong-Kong, Nip Chee Fei. Its resilience is drawn from Tai chi chuan, its strength from Shaolin. Pok khek has its own kata leg techniques are employed, but hand techniques predominate. During sparring, punches and kicks are not pulled, and protective gear is worn.
